Antique Late Victorian Regency Inlaid Mahogany Triple Breakfront Wardrobe C1890

Superb Antique Late Victorian Inlaid Mahogany BREAKFRONT Triple Wardrobe of Regency Style and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded cornice with gadrooned edge above a deep inlaid and crossbanded frieze with chequered inlay and with inlaid lozenge to the centre. There are three full length moulded panelled doors. Each panel with moulded gadrooned edges and inlaid payers to the centre overlaid with fine stringing and with inlaid crossbanded edges to the frames. They have original ornate brass escutcheons and working key. Internally and to the BREAKFRONT centre there is a hanging rail above a sliding tray drawer over three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. This is flanked on either side by full length hanging space with rail and with a single shelf to the base. It is raised on a deep plinth base with crossbanded inlay and fine stringing.

This is a superb quality wardrobe with excellent craftsmanship to the abundance of inlay making for a real statement piece of furniture.

The wardrobe separates for ease of transporting.
