Chinese underglaze blue ''shou'' ginger jar. Dating from Kangxi or possibly Yongzheng - early 18th century. Double ring mark and nice burnt edge to base plus radial chatter marks . Finely decorated with 5 shou (longevity) characters, a ruyi cloud collar and base lappets - Chinese taste. Overall condition good - no chips or restoration but with a fine hair line from top rim - shown on final photograph- and a very short firing crack.
