A Superb Georgian Silver Gilt Bowl

A superb George III silver bowl, by the great Joseph Angell I. The body stands on a raised pedestal foot, which is fully cast and features stylized acanthus leaves. The body is repousee with floral patterns over a stipple background. To the front is an unusual armorial featuring three rapiers. The interior is richly gilded and this wonderful piece would make an ideal gift idea, both usable and decorative. Dimensions below.
