Tall Victorian Brass Table Lamp

19th century
Description

Circa 1890-1900 a heavy and well made brass lamp, originally the base of an oil lamp and in very good condition.

It measures 51cm in total in height; 44cm from the flat part at the top to the bottom of the column; the octagon shaped base is 17cm in total at the widest part.

The lamp weighs 2.8kgs and there are no signs of damage anywhere. It has been professionally polished but not lacquered, and rewired to UK specifications using flex cable.
