Description

This is a very decorative and pretty solid silver tea strainer. Dated Birmingham 1924, it bears the hallmarks of William Suckling Ltd, prolific Birmingham silversmith. The pierced circular bowl with elaborate fret work handle and lug support. The underside impressed with patent number, a testimony of the originality of its design. it has an excellent silver gauge and feels satisfyingly heavy when handled.
