Cased Edwardian Silver Thimble by Henry Fowler, Birmingham 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

This delightful cased silver thimble was made in Birmingham 1905 and bears teh marks of Henry Fowler. The lower section of the thimble fully hallmarked. The middles section engraved with stylised flowerhead designs. The Morocco leather case lined with velvet and satin.

Hallmarks:

H.F for Henry Fowler.

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "e" for 1905.

Dimensions:

Height of the case: 3.5 cm

Height of the thimble: 2.5cm

Diameter: 1.8cm

Condition:

Very good.

Both silver thimble and case in very good condition.
