This particular box has replacement paint blocks made up for by having the most exceptional selection of signed ceramic palettes and pots. To the rear are four three-tier towers, with damage commensurate with age. A small palette to the top and a very large signed palette within the drawer.

There is s metal box with a sliding lid containing the original charcoals. There are the original paper coverings beneath various sections in a teal blue and gold "Newman, 24 Soho Square, London"
A good early example in excellent used condition dating to c.1830, nearly 200 years old. Complete with a working key. 11" x 8 3/4" x 4" tall.
