Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table C.1860

19th century
Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1860. Original 39½" diameter white marble top featuring a broad shaped edge with concentric rings designed to stop spilt liquids from running over the sides. Mahogany apron with an applied moulding to the bottom edge. Over a crisp turned column with carved gadroon detail, raised on three legs with reeded tops and scroll carved sides on the the original wooden castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
