Description

A good quality early 20thc mahogany framed fireside stool c1920. It has a chamfered mahogany frame of classic design and low cabriole legs. It is upholstered in a hand stitched floral colourful wool tapestry, with initials EY 04. The lining under the stool is fairly new - and my own view is that the tapestry was done in 2004. However, it is definitely an antique stool frame dating to c1920 and no doubt looks better reupholstered than with an old worn covering.
