An impressive and difficult to find Art Deco Clock by Famous Sculptor of Art Deco period G Lavroff ( signed to the back of the statue)
A Cubist designed clock mounted by a spectacular giled bronze Sculpture of Diana the Huntress . exquisitely detailed , geometric bronze dial . constructed from tri- coloured marble and onyx , affixed with gold plated bronze plaques with ibexes jumping in rays of sunshine .
It will make a very fine addition to any Art Deco Collection!
In good vintage condition with usual signs of age and use.

Georgi Dmitrievich Lavrov or Georges Lavroff was born in Siberia on April 18, 1895. He first produced sculptures in Siberia, then later in Moscow. In 1927, Lavroff was sent to France where he created many Art Deco animal sculptures in bronze and ceramics. These sculptures brought him fame in the Western world.
