Aramis Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It would not be unusual for silver makers to specialise and William Yates was known for cutlery making and William Hutton for high quality silverware. The scoop has an ivorine handle (often called bone handle at the time). This piece is in excellent condition and the scoop itself is beautifully made with a high gauge of silver and a deep shovel. Lovely.
