A fabulous large Edwardian silver photo frame with hallmarks for Birmingham 1912 and maker’s mark for HENRY CLIFFORD DAVIS. Backed by an oak easel frame in really good condition, the frame has an arched and scalloped form with gadrooned edging, unified by bunches of flowers at intervals. There are four bunches around the arch top, four below and two on each side. The silver frame is set against the oak back frame, which minimises the risk of damage to the silver edges. This is a really impressive, elegant and lively frame ready for a very special photo. Excellent condition.
