Description

Platinum and diamond arrow brooch

This Platinum and diamond arrow brooch was made circa 1920

Made of platinum with diamonds set in the arrowhead and the feather fletching.

A pin to the rear secures this beauty to your garment.

Formally belonging to Petronella de Wharton-Burr. It was purchased from a jeweller in Brighton called Shorland Fooks in 1935.

She went on to win the world ladies archery competition held in London in 1948.

This brooch is in our selection of jewellery that has come from Bell Antiques (gemmologists) who retired 10 years ago.
