Description

A fine Georgian mahogany bowfront chest of drawers c1820. This chest is made of beautiful figured mahogany with superb rich and warm colour. The top is crossbanded and inlaid with a single ebony line. The drawers have beaded edges. The drawers are mahogany lined, a mark of quality. The chest stands on elegant outswept feet either side of a shaped apron. After a clean and polish, it is in excellent condition, no splits. A very good example of a bowfront chest.
