Description

An excellent antique early Victorian partners desk / writing table in solid mahogany. This was made in England & I would date it from around the 1840-1860’s period.

It is of amazing quality, is a great size and has a wonderful design. The inset leather top is gold tooled and has been hand coloured, there is plenty of working space. This sits on beautiful turned mahogany legs with original brass caster, the handles are also beautifully turned. There are two generous drawers on the front, and the back has two dummy drawers so this can be used as a free standing desk.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some normal wear and patina still visible here and there.
