Art Deco Era Silver and Enamel Scent Bottle London 1927

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb Art Deco era silver and guilloche enamel top scent bottle with hallmarks for London 1927 on the outer rim of the silver top. The makers mark is rather rubbed. A lion passant mark also appears on the inner rim of the top.

The silver top is inset with guilloche enamel in a bright lustrous royal blue. The enamel is in perfect condition. The top is screw on. The glass bottle is 6 sided and made of thick glass so that each corner reflects the depth. The bottle is cut with two bands of reeding just above the base and at waist level. The base is plain. The bottle has its original perfectly fitting stopper.

A stunning quite large piece of enamel work in a stunning colour.
