A fine pair of early 19thc, Regency era brass andirons or fire dogs. C1820. Made to a classic design, with a solid oblong base with fluted edges, repeated above with fluted balls uniting the upper bar. These are really solid, heavy and sound early 19thc brass fireplace fire dogs for resting your fire tools on. Nicely polished too.
