Antique Pope Joan Game & Bone Counters - Old Receipt

This is a Victorian mahogany Pope Joan game. The board is octagonal in shape with each section lined with the original blue velvet. Each section is named at the top with a word from Queen, Matrimony Pope etc.
The game requires a pack of cards, counters are placed in each section and are won if you are able to put down the particularly card needed.
An old receipt comes with the game, priced in guineas.
A copy of the rules is included.
The board measures 23cm w x 3cm h.
