Description

This fine quality silver plated Champagne / wine cooler which dates from the first half of the 20th century was made in Belgium, has a ring handle to each side, ring decoration to the body with a W monogram and has a good weight.

This Champagne bucket fits into the silver plated floor stand that has a nice plain design with domed base.

Marks: Marked to base of wine cooler with Manuf. Nationale D'orfevrerie Bruxelles.

Dimensions:

Total height: 69.5 cm (27 1/2") approx.

Cooler only: 19.5 cm (7 3/4") High. 24 cm (9 1/2") Diameter including handles.

Total weight: 5.156 Kg.

Condition: Very good used vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with some light surface scratches and a little wear to the plate where the ring handles touch the sides. The inside of the bucket is clean with a few spots/marks and some wear to the plate on the bottom with some warm copper colour showing through. A few bruises to the base of the stand.
