Description

A magnificent and rare hefty desk-top ruler by one of the creme de la creme of silversmith's, John Collard Vickery.

The numbers are crisp, the hallmark and English design registration number are clear and the ruler is without knocks, damage or repairs.

The underside is fully hallmarked for London 1906, Edwardian in era and marked J C Vickery 179, 181, 183 Regent St W; the design registration number of 422149 for the year 1904.

A truly heavy piece, weighing 684 Grams / 21.99 Troy Ounces (lead filled) with both inches and centimetres indicated.

12" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" tall to top of handle. About as special as they get!
