An early 1800s antique treen sailors press/rubber nicely carved with rope effect handle and Turks knot.
This lovely small sized sailors rubber was used to smooth the stitched seams on canvases. This piece has been well used which is great to see, very tactile.
It measures 10cm l x 3.5cm w at the widest point.
