A stunning antique Swedish sofa from the Biedermeier period, which I would date from around the 1840-1860’s period.

It is beautifully made from tiger birch wood, which has a gorgeous colour and striking grain patterns. The quality is amazing, the design is extremely elegant and very stylish.

We have had this fully restored, the frame has been stripped and re-polished, and we have had this fully re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for its age.

We also have the matching pair of armchairs that came with this, seen listed under our other items for sale.
