Superb Antique Late 19TH Century Sheraton Revival Satinwood Kidney Shaped Desk and dating from around 1890. Co strutted from quality satinwood it has its original ,Esther skiver set within a moulded edge to the top. There is a single drawer to the centre with shaped supports flanked on either side by two mahogany lined drawers with ivoreen escutcheons s and original ring drop handles. Each drawer has crossbanded edges. It is raised on squared and tapering legs on a spade foot joined by hooped stretchers. A most attractive quality desk.

MEASURES: 30.5” HIGH X 24” DEEP X 54.5” WIDE & KNEE HEIGHT 25”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
