Description
This is a very well carved large Japanese netsuke of Kannon ( goddess of mercy and compassion) holding a fish in a basket. The figure is beautifully rendered with much attention to detail the face is beautiful. It has a lovely colour and feel with a good polish. The odd natural hairline. I have a passion for both Japanese and European antiques and am usually found prowling round antique fairs. I try to provide an interesting mixed bag of stock with an increasing emphasis on Japanese objects. You will find us very approachable and happy to answer any questions and any inquiries with shipping
