Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The quality is fantastic, this is solid mahogany throughout and is very well built. It opens out into a useful size, and when not in use folds away nicely. This sits on strong cabriole legs that terminate in claw and ball feet.
This has a beautiful overall colour and rich patina. We have had it re-polished and it is in lovely condition for its age.
It can be used either fully open or just with one leaf up, it would sit nicely against a flat wall when half open.
