A delightful Georgian mahogany drop leaf table or worktable c1800. The table has a single drawer which pulls out on one side with a dummy facade on the other side. Both of the drawer fronts are veneered with flame mahogany, making a pleasing effect and patina. The edge of the mahogany top and flaps are reeded, and the flaps have curved corners. The table stands on turned legs and brass castors. The flaps are supported when raised by pull out arms attached to the frame.

The table is in very good condition for its age, though the central part of the top bears some old minor signs of use, which is to be expected.
