Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It is of very fine quality, with a beautifully sculpted and elegant solid mahogany frame.
We have had this re-polished, there was a small hairline crack to the veneer on the upper front of the back rest, that has been repaired and coloured, it doesn’t go all the way through the frame. We have had the seat newly upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, this is in excellent overall condition for its age.
