This is a 19th century alphabet and spelling box with thirty double sided bone tiles with an upper and lower case letter on each side. There is one of each letter and two of some of the vowels and s.
This lovely little box has achamfered lid with an inlaid bone pannel with Abc on it.
The box measures 7vm w x 5cm d x 3.2cm h.
