For your consideration is this delightful ladies powder Art Deco compact made from bakelite . This is a genuine Art Deco item, not a modern reproduction. This smooth round compact is very tactile and has a lovely applied decoration of a Scottish terrier wearing a black waistcoat embedded with tiny stones that the compact with the typical perfume smell. The applicator sponge is falling away slightly from the rim on a a small section at one side, see photographs.

This could either be kept as is for a stylish addition to a compact collection, or the applicator could be replaced and the compact filled with blusher for modern use. Would also make a stunning handbag mirror.
