Art Deco French Modernist Clock

1920 - 1940
Description

A modernist Art Deco clock with its pair of matching garnitures. Made from black and white marble, with a chrome ibis to one side. The numerals represented by stylish circular chrome and with chrome rectangular hands. The movement has been replaced with a quartz movement at some point and so keeps very good time. The clock in very good condition. The garnitures in overall good condition, but with a few nibbles to the black marble at the back. On one garniture some chipped white marble to one side as photographed and not obviously noticeable.
