Nottingham Train Station Railway Fire Bucket Sign

1920 - 1940
Description

This original train station sign which came from Nottingham Low Level Station has a red background and white hand painted lettering with the wording These buckets must be kept full of water and only used for fire purposes.

The large size, great colours and patina of the sign makes it a super decorative piece for a loft apartment, bar / restaurant or a nice decorative piece of railway memorabilia.

Can be hung on a wall or looks great resting against a wall.

Material: Painted wood.

Date: First half of the 20th century.

Length: 94 cm (37").

Height: 40 cm (15 3/4").

Depth: 4 cm (1 1/2").

Weight: 4 Kg.

Condition: Well used vintage condition with signs of wear, tear, chips, dings, holes and scratches giving the sign a wonderful decorative look.

Please note that only the wood sign is included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
