Description

This is a rather fun Art Deco silver plated and clear glass preserve jar in the form of an apple. The glass body with a silver plated lid realistically shaped as the top of an apple and having a stalk as a finial. Sold with a solid silver preserve spoon dated Sheffield 1922.

Hallmarks:

Lid: Marked EPNS

Spoon.

JS&S for

Sheffield Assay Mark.

Date letter "e" for 1922.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Height: 11cm /4.4 inches

Diameter at widest: 10cm / 4 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass in perfect condition.
