Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The stone is secured in a platinum collet featuring six split claws and stylised heart detailing in the gallery. The shoulders are set with six (three either side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slim D-shaped shank adorned with fine and intricate engraved detailing.

Cut – Old European cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – H (G to H in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders.)

Carat – 1.36 (with a further approximate 0.10 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1915.
Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.64 x 6.47mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
