Very elegant antique French gilt Louis XVI mirror in excellent condition.
It dates from around 1880.
It would make the perfect freestanding leaner mirror in a bedroom or dressing room, but would also look beautiful above a large fireplace as an overmantel.
It has its its gorgeous original real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with no chips at all including its beautiful gilt ribbon crest.
It has its heavy original antique glass with no scratches and its original pine backboards with the maker’s stamp LB & F PARIS.
