Victorian Silver Christening Mug 1858

This superb VICTORIAN SILVER TANKARD is of classic form and was made by the well-known and sought-after silversmiths of Martin Hall & Co and assayed in Sheffield 1858.

This superb Antique Silver Tankard has a raised base and a floral repousse decoration with a large central blank cartouche. There are no added engravings, monograms or initials.

In excellent condition despite being more than 160 years old, this lovely Tankard would make a fabulous Christening Gift or would enhance any Silver collection.

Weight – 82gm / 2.64ozt
