Antique 18th Century Oak Bureau Bookcase C1780

Antique 18th Century Oaj Bureau Bookcase and dating from around the time of George 111 c1780. Constructed from quality oak it has a moulded cornice top two doors with fielded panels and brass escutcheon with working key. Internally there is a central divider with two fully adjustable shelves to each side. The fall front with brass escutcheon opens to reveal a fitted interior with a central small cupboard door with brass handle and flanked on either side by a series of drawers and pigeon holes. To each end there is a secret small frieze drawer . To the base there are two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are pine lined with original brass escutcheons and brass handles.the whole being raised on bracket feet.
