Antique 1920s Cudos full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a 7 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Cudos, together with the initials HJC, for H J Cooper & Co Ltd of London, who registered the name Cudos in 1910. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a short scratch and also a small short code scratched into it, possibly a pawnbroker’s code.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is beautifully decorated on both the front and back, and it is in lovely condition with just light surface marking, nothing serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The glass lens has a few little manufacturing flaws but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The dial has a couple of hairline cracks but they are quite faint.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
