Antique Omega Gun Metal Pocket Watch

Antique Omega gun metal pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and the serial number 4,792,136 dates it back to around 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal with rose gold coloured embellishments and overall it is in good condition, just a little surface marking which is normal with gun metal cased pocket watches.

The inside of the case back is signed with the early Omega logo, and there is also a 1939 service paper from the watch repairer and jeweller in Sunderland.

The glass lens has a little nibble underneath the outside edge but you have to look closely to see it.

The signed dial has an interesting appearance with elongated Roman numerals, an inner 24 hour dial with red numbers, original hands and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
