Antique Satin Birch Bureau

An antique 19th century satin birch bureau desk with a beautiful rich colour throughout. The bureau has inlaid detail on the fall front and drawer fronts. The fall front is supported by two pull out arms and opens to reveal a fitted interior to include small central cupboard and various pigeonholes.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There are losses to the

drawer surrounds, however, despite this, this antique satin birch bureau remains a very neat looking

piece. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the top and front, and

there are small losses and repairs in places, these do not affect the integrity of the piece. There is

also, some evidence of historic woodworm, however this has long gone.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
