Painted Antique Rustic Trunk

An antique 19th century rustic trunk with hand painted detail to the front panels and decorative escutcheon. The trunk includes its original hinges and handles, keeping this rustic trunk a true authentic piece.

Height – 51cm / Width – 93.5cm / Depth – 57cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In worn rustic condition throughout with many signs of age and wear. There are losses to the bottom corners of the rustic trunk, and evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as precaution. There is a shrinkage gap to the top, however this does not compromise the piece, and it remains structurally solid and sound. That said, the hinges are original and are a little loose, so there is some movement in the lid.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
