Description

An excellent pair of original George III inlaid mahogany carver chairs. These were made in England, they date from around the 1790-1810 Georgian period.

The quality is absolutely stunning, these have beautiful and intricate carving on the backrests and down the arm supports. There is wonderful satin wood inlay on the back rests, the legs are tapered and stretchered at the bases.

We have recently had these re-polished and the seats have been newly upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for their age, they are sturdy and sound, with just the right amount of patina.
