A double fusee mechanism with quarter hour 'ting tang' and striking the hours. Engraved to the backplate 'Camerer Kuss & Co 56, New Oxford Street London'

Height (top of finial) 16" / 41 cms Width & Depth 6" / 15 cms
Victorian and early 20th century lantern clocks are seen with single and double fusee mechanism's but few have the desirable quarter strike as well. This is a 'full size' example of good quality. I have left the aged patina to the case and can be polished if requested.

Camerer Kuss are well known makers and retailers from the 19th and 20th century. They changed the name to 'Camerer Cuss' 1914, this example dates to circa 1895.
