Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1900s.
A comfortable but decorative rocking chair.
The chair descends to a typical Edwardian dual coil-sprung rocking base incorporating finely turned stretcher rails.

This lovely chair features its original well maintained french polished finish with lots of patina which we have just cleaned to preserve and protect the finish and give a natural sheen. This item is structurally solid with a perfectly working rocking mechanism, in good order with no loose joints. The material and inner padding seems to be in good condition and the chair has come from a smoke-free environment and is comfortable.

The chair has been traditionally re-upholstered (approximately within the last 8 years) in a fine quality floral beige Damask material which we have cleaned. The material is used so is not absolutely perfect, however, can be left as it is in fantastic clean condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste. We would be able to quote for reupholstering this chair for you if you enquire.

Please note; this item is in very good condition for its age but does have signs of wear and tear however we feel that's part of its charm and character with it being antique
