Mahogany Cupboard Bookcase C.1860.

Description

Very useful mid 19th.c. mahogany cupboard or blind door bookcase with shelves c.1860. Two door cupboard fitted with four adjustable shelves (internal depth 13”) and a single long drawer to the base. Free of almost any applied decoration, attention is focused on the exceptionally well figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a striking symmetrical pattern on the door fronts. Shaped and moulded cornice and plinth also veneered to match. Mahogany figured veneered sides, oak lined interior, shelves and back panel. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
