Description

A stunning continental sterling silver tea caddy, highly decorative bearing the English silver import hallmark for Chester 1908, making this a true Edwardian example.

An exquisite shape, with decorative repousse panels all around the body with various figural rural scenes, mostly gentlemen with a dog. The attractive hinged lid features rider on horseback and in the background a hunt scene.

The hinge is in perfect working order. Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" wide x 2" deep x 3 1/2" tall to top of finial.
