19th Century Antique Glazed Walnut Bookcase

A delightful 19th century antique glazed walnut bookcase. The half-height bookcase has a wonderful, figured walnut top with brass mounting to the edges. There are three glazed doors which open to reveal a shelved interior with two adjustable height shelves to each section. The three doors have working locks with one key to operate them all. The glazed walnut bookcase is raised on a plinth base. A rather beautiful example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the top (pictured), but overall, the glazed walnut bookcase remains in good antique condition. The glazed doors all remain intact with no apparent breaks or cracks. The bookcase remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a particularly good example.
