This is a superb example of an English mahogany bracket clock.
The mahogany case has a wonderful rich colour and patina and the grain really does shine through, this is complimented by the original silver dial with a contrasting brass bezal and the brass fish scale fretwork with red backing .

The clock strikes the hours and the half hours on a tuned gong.
The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service by Alan Williams of Plymouth clocks, who is a fellow of the British Horological Institute with over 40 years experience working with high quality clocks so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

It is keeping accurate time to within 1 minute a week.
Overall this is an outstanding clock and will give pleasure for years to come.
The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
