Description

An excellent late Victorian period inlaid rosewood davenport. Of fine construction in solid mahogany with attractive rosewood veneers and embellished with inlaid detailing throughout in satinwood, boxwood and ivorine, With a lift up writing surface, fitted with a sumptuous black leather, which opens to reveal an interior with stationary drawers. With a superstructure, which opens to reveal a fitted interior. To one side there is an arrangement of 4 graduated drawers (lockable, key supplied) which are matched with a complimentary bank of dummy drawers to the opposing side. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
