Description

A superb pair of antique Swedish armchairs in solid walnut and leather. They are in the antique Carolean style, and they date from around the 1880-1900 period.

They are of amazing quality, and have a stunning design. The scroll over arms have crisp acanthus leaf carving, and are beautifully shaped. The legs are also beautifully carved and have a very interesting design, even the stretcher is beautifully carved. These are very sturdy and are also extremely comfortable.

We have just had these re-upholstered in leather which has been hand coloured to give this beautiful tanned colour. The frames have also been re-polished, these are in excellent overall condition.
