Description

An absolutely stunning antique glass top coffee table, beautifully carved from solid satin wood. This was made in England by Hille, it dates from the 1920-1930’s.

The quality is exceptional, with profuse and crisp carving all over the base. The supports are shaped like sweeping acanthus leaves, the base has concaved and gadrooned edges.

The toughened glass top has four holes where the base attaches and is held in places by four beautifully carved rosettes.

We have had the base stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the glass top was replaced recently by the previous owner. This is in superb condition throughout.
